Itinerary Overview

Fly from Windhoek into the Namib Desert, north to Damaraland, across to Etosha, and return to Windhoek via a stargazing lodge in the central highlands.

Day 1: Windhoek — Arrival

Settle into Windhoek. Evening briefing on your itinerary and logistics.

Accommodation Basis: Bed & Breakfast

Day 2–3: Fly to Sossusvlei

Morning charter flight into Sossusvlei. Two days here: sunrise over Deadvlei on day one, the Big Daddy dune climb and Sesriem Canyon on day two. The Namib Sand Sea is a UNESCO World Heritage Site — the oldest desert on earth — and two full days do it some justice.

Day 4–5: Fly to Damaraland

Charter flight north to Damaraland — one of Namibia’s most dramatic and least-visited regions. Two days of guided game drives in search of desert-adapted black rhinos and elephants; the ancient rock engravings at Twyfelfontein; and open scenery that few visitors ever reach.

Day 6–8: Fly to Etosha National Park

Three days in Etosha. Floodlit waterholes at night, full-day game drives through the park’s most productive zones, and the flat infinity of the Etosha Pan stretching to the horizon. Three nights here gives you the best chance of big cat sightings and the unhurried pace the park deserves.

Day 9: Fly to Central Highlands — Stargazing Lodge

An afternoon flight south brings you to a private conservancy lodge in the central highlands — chosen for its observatory and Namibia’s exceptional dark skies. This is the perfect way to close the trip.

Short transfer or charter flight to Windhoek for departure from Hosea Kutako International Airport.
