Itinerary Overview

Carried gently by the wind, the balloon floats over this pristine wilderness, allowing guests to witness the desert coming to life. Wildlife such as oryx and springbok may be spotted from above, adding to the magic of the journey.

After landing in an isolated, picturesque spot, a champagne breakfast awaits, featuring fresh pastries, fruits, and local delicacies. Following breakfast, a scenic drive through the desert brings guests back to the pick-up point, completing this extraordinary adventure.

Pre-Dawn (Approx. 4-5:00 AM)

Pick-Up: Guests are picked up from their lodge and transferred to the balloon launch site.

Briefing: Upon arrival, meet the pilot and crew for a safety briefing and introduction to the hot air ballooning adventure. Guests can watch the inflation of the balloon, which is a spectacle on its own.

Sunrise (Approx. 6:00 AM)

Take-Off: Just as the first light appears, the balloon gently ascends into the sky, offering stunning views of the Namib Desert dunes, or the coastal dune belt if departing from Swakopmund.

Experience: Float silently over the desert, carried by wind currents. Witness the awakening of the landscape as the sun casts golden hues over the dunes, mountains, or coastal sands. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as oryx, springbok, or jackals.

Landing & Breakfast (Approx. 7:30 AM)

Landing: The balloon descends to a spot determined by the wind’s guidance, typically in a remote, picturesque area.

Breakfast: A gourmet champagne breakfast is set up in the middle of the desert. The spread includes freshly baked bread, pastries, fruits, and local delicacies, complemented by sparkling wine or juice.

Scenic Drive (Approx. 9:00 AM)

Drive Back: After breakfast, embark on a scenic drive back to the pick-up point or directly to your lodge or hotel. Along the way, enjoy more opportunities to admire the unique desert landscapes.

Return: Guests are dropped off at their accommodation, leaving the rest of the day free for relaxation or additional activities.
